Your answers improve understanding of current practice in the field of Senior Relocation and Home Transition Services.
For the purpose of this survey, a Senior Transition Specialist is defined as an expert who helps seniors staff and/or families through the home transition/relocation/remodel/downsizing processes and utilizes best practices to support individuals in transition.
This snapshot of the profession(s) is used to develop fair and appropriate national examinations to ensure Senior Relocation and Transition Specialists are competent to safely practice.
Transition Specialists with all levels of experience are needed to answer how frequently they personally perform various tasks. Each task is also given a rating of importance specific to the Transition process. This information is used to guide content and blueprint the final examination.
Creating a valid certification examination protects the public and enhances professional standing. Be assured that your input adds to the integrity of the process. The test will reflect the reality of practice and the knowledge required to perform in a safe and effective manner.
