GET INVOLVED IN THIS SURVEY AND HAVE YOUR SAY ON SHAPING THE WAY SERVICES AND SUPPORT ARE DELIVERED TO YOU ACROSS AUSTRALIA, IN THE FUTURE.

The current Productivity Commission’s inquiry into long-term disability care and support is happening across Australia.

This inquiry is important to us as people with disability in Australia. An Inquiry of this nature means that the findings are seen by all of government and the recommendations that come from the inquiry will hopefully form a new, innovative system of support and services in Australia for the future.

This inquiry will look at ways to develop a new system to improve long term care and support services to people with disability across Australia. At the same time, the inquiry will look at ways to fund these improved services in the future.

Other issues include:
how to build a'good' system,
what features disability care and supports should have,
eligibility for services,
the power of the system and who should have power,
what types of services are needed,
how can this be financed,
and much more.
