Centre for Low Carbon Futures :: Low Carbon Supply Chain Survey
1. Welcome
LOW CARBON SUPPLY CHAIN – Survey
CONFIDENTIALITY: All information provided will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. It will be used as data that will not be identified with you and your company.
Dear Sir/Madam,
This survey is part of an academic research from the Centre for Low Carbon Futures (a collaborative research centre formed by the Universities of Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and York) and funded by Yorkshire Forward which is looking at sustainable and green issues encountered by supply chains in industrial and commercial sectors.
This research is aimed at providing new insights about how firms can reduce their carbon footprints by taking into account the whole supply chain system in which they are operating. The final objective of the project is the development of a Balanced Low Carbon Supply Shain System capable of helping firms in identifying and evaluating potential green interventions on their supply chain.
This survey is seeking firms who want to be our partners in this research and look for the identification of carbon hotspots in their supply chains.
Our partner firms will benefit from an enhanced carbon emission reduction advisory. Therefore, there is also the opportunity to take part in interviews and focus groups at a later date. Should you want to be involved in that stage, please respond accordingly at the end of this survey.
In line with the standard requirements of an academic research project this research will maintain highest standards of business and data confidentiality. Therefore, all efforts would be made to ensure that nothing of which you provide in these pages is traceable back to you and/or your company.
All the companies participating in the survey will receive an electronic copy of the final report of the study.
Thank you in advance for the precious time you will devote us.
