CommandIR III Beta Test

1. Beta Test Info

Hi Everyone, the beta-testing process will work like this:
1) Complete this form
2) Selected testers will cover a $100 fee towards a CommandIR III Retail product
3) We will overnight FedEx a CommandIR III Beta board to you once the beta-test begins
4) There's a bit of a high priority on collecting test results and bugs - we're aiming for 5-10 business days
5) Send in your results
6) Big thanks from us
7) Receive your CommandIR III retail product on release

We're currently aiming for shipping Wednesday through Friday, May 19th-21st.

The beta boards have:
8 IR emitter plugs
1 IR recording LED (short-range, not suitable for general remote control)
1 IR_IN terminal (Xantech compatible)
1 IR receiver jack (Hauppauge compatible)**
1 USB
+ 4 IR emitters (if you require them)

NOTE: Our shipment of IR receivers won't arrive for a little while, so Hauppauge or Xantech IR receivers are required for remote-control testing. However remotes for transmitting can be 'learned' with the new on-board learning receiver.

Thank you for helping us out!

1. Which CommandIR III Beta functions are you able to help us test?

*
2. How comfortable are you replacing your LIRC package with a manually upgraded and compiled LIRC?

3. What hardware will you be testing CommandIR with? (makes and types are OK answers, don't need exact model numbers)

*
4. I understand the cost of $100 USD, which in no way covers the cost of my CommandIR III Beta, will be put towards the purchase of a CommandIR III Retail product (Basic or Pro) once it is released.

*
5. I agree that if I'm selected for Beta-testing I will:
1) Maintain confidentiality of my experience with the CommandIR III Beta, unless permission is given to share my experience
2) Maintain confidentiality of any technical details I may be exposed to, including possible intellectual property
3) Not to lend or transfer possession of my Beta hardware, for fun or for profit

*
6. What's your name, email, and country? (not shared, or used for any other purpose than this Beta)

7. Any comments, or unique value propositions you can bring to the Beta-test team?
