In response to recent continuing education events that the new Orlando Citylab has hosted, and in response to questions raised by local DCP (Design, Construction & Planning) professionals, the University of Florida has approved my request to anonymously poll Orlando area professionals to see what courses you would be interested in TAKING and/OR TEACHING at the Orlando Citylab.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your anonymous suggestions and feedback to these 10 questions. 8. Were you you aware that the University of Florida is opening a graduate school of Architecture in conjunction an undergraduate degree program with UCF and Valencia in the Orlando at the ORLANDO Citylab in 2012? Do you have any additional questions or comments related to this?

(In 2008, The American Institute of Architects established a task force to evaluate options for a school of architecture in Central Florida in response to requests from multiple alumni and businesses. Faculty for UCF, Valencia & the University of Florida have been meeting for years to help form a unified graduate program that area students will have the opportunity to move through (2 + 2 + 2 graduate program: 2 years at Valencia, 2 years at UCF, and 2 years at UF in Orlando at the new Citylab).
