CAL State of Applied Linguistics Programs: Faculty Survey
The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is conducting a survey on the state of graduate education in applied linguistics in the United States. The responses collected by this survey will provide information on current offerings in applied linguistics programs and will serve as a basis for discussion about not only the current state of applied linguistics but also where the field should concentrate its efforts in the next half century.
This survey will cover the following topics:
i. Background information on your graduate program
ii. Program outcomes
iii. Description of the field
iv. Scholarship in the field
v. Future directions of the field
Any identifying information, including administrative positions or professional affiliations, will not be published or presented in connection with your responses.
Please complete the survey as thoroughly as possible. If there are any questions to which you do not wish to reply, you may skip them.
We are grateful to our Advisory Board for working with us to conceptualize the project and develop the survey.
Please note that this is a survey for faculty. If you are a student, please click here to take the student survey.
