Mastocytosis Survey

1. Coping with Mast Cell Disorders Survey

This is a research survey for people with mastocytosis and mast cell disorders. It is designed to gather information on the psychosocial impact of mast cell disorders and the ways people cope. You will be asked questions on your reactions to having the disease, your symptoms, social support, and ways of coping.

The results will be used to help understand the psychological effects of mastocytosis and mast cell disorders. Your participation in this exploratory study is important because there is so little information about the impact of mast cell disorders on people's lives.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would complete this survey. Your participation is voluntary and the information is confidential. This questionnaire contains no identifying information, so your answers will be anonymous.

We realize that this survey is lengthy and may take awhile to complete. We wanted to gather as much information as possible on this important topic. You can save your responses at any time and go back to finish the rest of the survey at a later time.

Thank you for taking time to participate in this important research survey. As a result of this study, we hope to better understand the psychological impact of mastocytosis and mast cell disorders and begin to meet the psychosocial needs of patients with these disorders.
