City of Wichita Bicycle Master Plan

 

The City of Wichita is developing a city-wide Bicycle Master Plan. The Plan will identify and prioritize strategies that will provide new and enhanced bicycle facilities, and ultimately, increase the number and frequency of people bicycling within the City of Wichita. The Plan will do this by providing a framework and strategies for improving the connectivity, safety, comfort, and convenience of the bicycle network.

Your input is critical to help develop the Plan. The following questionnaire should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and will be available online through October 21, 2011. Information collected will be confidential and used solely for developing the Wichita Bicycle Master Plan.

What: Wichita Bicycle Master Plan Open House Event

Date: Tuesday, October 4th

Time: 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Location: 1st Floor of City Hall, 455 N. Main Street

Overview: The open house event will be an opportunity for citizens to provide input for the plan and to learn more about the planning process. We will have multiple interactive stations for people to get engaged in the planning process by drawing on maps, voting with sticky dots, or providing comments.
