. The purpose of this survey is to gather your thoughts on what the Chamber should make its priorities during 2010, as discussed/proposed during the November meeting.
The Chamber wants the members to decide its activities. As not all members can attend all meetings, this medium may help the input of ideas.

A. Benefit to members
e.g
- Encourage members to offer special prices to other members
- Offer affiliation to Dorset Chamber (helpline, reduced prices)
- Encourage more people to join the Chamber (bigger 'voice' for business in the community)
- Address members' concerns (eg planters, Christmas tree/lights in Ringwood Rd)
- Broaden our contact with, and awareness of, other Chambers (Yes:Bournemouth, Dorset, West Moors, To do: Verwood, Ringwood)
- Encourage members to attend meetings, or evening networking events (also good attendance at special event in Feb)
B. Improving the look of the town, to attract business
e.g.
- Window dressing competitions
- Ferndown in Bloom
- Giving support to Ferndown Town Council with its plans

A brand new idea is to run a Question Time style event to highlight what is important for businesses in Ferndown. What would make people get involved in that?
