Each year, Queensland Primary Industries and Fisheries provides a report to the Department of Education and Training on the training needs of our industry sectors. The report is called the Queensland rural skills and training demand report and you can see the 2008 and 2009 reports on the website at http://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/cps/rde/dpi/hs.xsl/16_12179_ENA_HTML.htm
The information that you provide in this survey will be included in the 2010 reports. By taking part in the survey you are helping us to make sure that the information in the report is accurate.
This is one of the critical tools that will be used by training providers such as the Australian Agricultural College Corporation and the TAFE institutes when they are planning the training they offer in the future.
