Metro Vancouver Invasive Plant Strategy Interest Survey

The Invasive Plant Council of Metro Vancouver (IPCMV) is interested in feedback from members and other stakeholders about the development of a regional invasive plant strategy for Metro Vancouver. The first discussion about a strategy was held at the October 13, 2011 IPCMV Fall Forum. For those unable to attend the forum or for those who want to provide additional feedback, please use this online survey. Feedback from this survey is the first step and there will be additional opportunities to provide input as the process continues.

1. Please identify what you believe are barriers to effective invasive plant management in Metro Vancouver.

2. How do you think the region can improve communication between land managers regarding all aspects of invasive plant management?

3. Do you think a strategy for invasive plant management would be useful to the region?

4. If a regional invasive plant strategy is developed, what would you like to see included in it?

5. How would the existence of a regional invasive plant strategy affect your job/volunteer work?
