Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Lake Forest College John and Christine Gates Center Day of Service.

On the day of service, Saturday, February 6, Forester volunteers will depart campus at 8:30am and will arrive at the North Chicago sites around 9:00am. Participants will return to campus at approximately 12:30pm, where there will be a warm lunch awaiting volunteers in the Gus & Margie Hart Dining Hall. This year, Lake Forest College begins a collaborative partnership with the Gorter Family Foundation: North Chicago Community Partners, focusing ongoing volunteer efforts in the North Chicago area. The Gates Day of Service serves as the kick-off for this valuable partnership between our Forester family and the communities that surround us.

Some projects will be outdoors, and we ask that you please dress accordingly (i.e., wear heavy shoes and old clothes that can get dirty, dress in layers, etc.).
