Options for counseling are described below. Question Title * 1. The research portion of the Hope Couples Project is not currently taking couples. If you would like to put your name on the list to be contacted in August for an appointment, please give your contact information below. If you prefer not to wait, we have three referrals for couples interested in treatment over the summer. 1. Dr. Ripley, the Hope Project director, sees couples through her practice, www.doctorripley.com. She has a master's level clinician at a lower price as an option. She can also provide referrals to other local trusted couples therapy clinicians. She can be contacted at 757-352-4296. If you are interested in seeing Dr. Ripley or receiving a referral, please call her office about an appointment.2. Also, another counseling opportunity is offered through the Family Health Study at Old Dominion University. It is a a free couples counseling research study at ODU for couples where alcohol or drug use is a problem. Lisa Mazzio, PsyD, is a local alumni of the Hope project and also provides services to individuals interested in couples therapy. Her office is located in Norfolk.
