Thank you for your interest in Homeless Awareness Calgary's Night Tours to be held Wednesday November 9, 2011.

• Get a guided tour of downtown Calgary from the perspective of those who have experienced homelessness
• Get a deeper understanding of the causes and experiences of homelessness

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF NIGHT TOURS?

Night Tours are designed to provide a perspective on street life for those who have not experienced the challenges and barriers people experiencing homelessness encounter in our society. We hope to generate awareness of homelessness issues in Calgary, giving participants increased understanding of the resources available to those living a street-involved lifestyle.

Guided by people who have experienced homelessness, supported by workers from homelessness-serving agencies, Night Tour participants will experience the streets of downtown Calgary as never before. Tour Guides will share their personal stories, and answer questions you might have. Support People will add their experiences to the conversation and be there to answer questions as well.

The cost of Night Tours is $10 per person. All monies raised go directly to your tour guides.
