
The Bayside District Corporation is a public/private partnership with the City of Santa Monica and Downtown Property Owners and Businesses with a distinct mission to protect and expand the vitality of Downtown Santa Monica for the benefit of all who live, work and visit the area.
The organization has been in business since 1984, but underwent a major change last year with the establishment of a property based assessment district (see enclosed map). Services for the new district include the establishment of the Ambassador program, enhanced and expanded maintenance services as well as marketing and promotional programs.
This survey will be conducted annually to evaluate these programs, as well as Bayside District Corporation’s function of governmental advocacy, retail support and recruitment and other long term planning issues.
