1. Bonner Awards Nomination Forms

INTRODUCTION TO ALUMNI AWARDS

As part of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Bonner Scholar Program, the foundation, in collaboration with the Bonner Student Congress is launching an initiative to identify and recognize alumni of the Bonner Program who have continued to make significant contributions to their communities and who have engaged in the spirit of the Common Commitments.

Each school participating in the Bonner Scholar or Bonner Leader Program is encouraged to nominate up to three alumni. (Complete this survey for each one, or email the foundation). The nominations that are made from the school should come through the Bonner Office and be signed by the Director of the Bonner Program. In addition, any alum of the Bonner Program may also make a recommendation directly to the Bonner Foundation (provided that at least the nomination has a minimum of two recommenders).

While special consideration should be given to some of the Bonner alumni who were a part of the program in the early years, schools may also consider recent graduates as well. For schools that have had a Bonner Program for less than five years, we encourage you to identify alumni from your school who were not in the Bonner Program but whose lives of service and commitment share the spirit of the Bonner Foundation.

All of the winners will be invited to come to the Bonner Alumni event which will be held on Saturday, June 5th. A few winners will be selected to make presentations during the 20th Anniversary celebration.

PLEASE SUBMIT THESE NOMINATIONS BY FRIDAY, MAY 7th!
