Introduction:
The Student Learning Center is offering up to $400 per semester, as funds allow, to instructors and faculty advocates of our UC Action academic assistance program. The purpose of these grants is to enhance the function of Action Centers in increasing student success at OU. Please fill out the form below in its entirety by the deadline to be considered for this funding opportunity.

- One week before classes begin for Spring and Fall semesters
Eligibility:
Faculty or instructors at the University of Oklahoma (Norman campus) who host a University College Action Center during the semester of application are eligible to apply for funding that semester. This includes faculty who host an Action Center through managing GTA schedules to staff their Centers.
Evaluation of Proposals:
The UC Action Faculty Grant selection committee will be comprised of the Director of the Student Learning Center, Associate Dean of University College, and the Financial Administrator for University College. The committee will evaluate all proposals received by the submission deadline. Criteria include (in order of importance):
- Are funds used directly for the UC Action session?
- Does the proposal meet the objective of increasing student learning?
- Do funds assist with motivating students to participate?
- Is the proposal clear and appropriate?
- Can purchased items be reused over time?
- Is the proposed use of funds innovative?
--Note: Up to $100 in printing per semester is allowed for each Action Center, beyond any grant monies, if sent to the Student Learning Center in advance. Marketing (flyers) is also a cost already covered by the Student Learning Center for each faculty/instructor.

Distribution of Award:
The assistant for the Student Learning Center (
studentlearning@ou.edu) will manage purchases and/or reimbursements of monies, and may be consulted at any time for balances on remaining funds.
Notes: All non-disposable items remain the property of the Student Learning Center; food purchases must be accompanied by lists of users of those food items.
