Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in attending the 2012 AEU Lay Leadership Summer School and for taking the time to complete this on-line application. We are anticipating another wonderful experience at The Mountain Retreat and Learning Center in Highlands, North Carolina.
The application you are about to complete is an important part of our preparations as your responses will help us plan and organize our program to best meet your needs and the needs of the other LLSS participants. With that in mind, please be thoughtful and earnest in your responses.
We ask that when you get to Section #3 - The Board Certification Form - please print it out before proceeding to the remaining sections. This form will need to be signed by your Society's Board President or Officer. Once this form is signed, please send it to the American Ethical Union, 2 West 64th Street, Suite 406, New York, NY 10023 (Attn: L. Miller) along with your deposit check of $150.00 made out to the AEU. Deposits will be returned to any applicant not accepted for training. Otherwise, deposits are non-refundable.
The remaining sections of the application is for registration purposes and includes specifics about costs, travel arrangements, food and lodging, and a few other practical items.
Once you have reached the end of the application/registration - click "Done" and it will be electronically sent to the Summer School Staff for approval.
The Summer School Staff will review the applications and inform those accepted into the program in early April.
We ask that all materials be completed and sent to the AEU office by March 9, 2012.
