We are conducting a global consultation on behalf of the African Black Diaspora Global Network on HIV and AIDS (AB-DGN). The AB-DGN works to strengthen the response to HIV and AIDS epidemics and associated stigma and discrimination among African and Caribbean Black communities in the Diaspora using a rights-based approach. We envisage that as a unified “network of networks”, we will share community experiences of triumph, hope and success and together build effective responses to address the multiple impacts of HIV and AIDS on the lives of African and Caribbean Black people living in the Diasporas.
Our goal for this consultation is to identify key individuals, organizations and institutions engaged in policy and programming responses that address the needs of HIV positive and/or at-risk African, Caribbean and Black communities living in the Diaspora. We are also seeking to document the strategies and interventions being undertaken with our target populations across various global regions. As an active contributor to this cause, we invite you to complete this brief survey to help us in the development of a global inventory of organizations, individuals and evidence-based interventions.
