America Walks, a national non-profit organization, in partnership with the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals is working to increase walking and walkability in America. We launched the Equal Footing Campaign to build momentum for walking and help galvanize a collaborative national walking movement. On September 16, 2010 we will hold the Equal Footing Summit to rally and coordinate diverse organizations, businesses and individuals to speak with one voice to improve walkability in America.
