During this holiday season, Tutor.com needs your help so that we can help others. We're going to donate $1,000 to three charities that are dedicated to assisting young people. These organizations help teens reach their dreams through championing a cause, getting to college or getting off the streets. Descriptions of each worthy, vetted charity follows.

Please select the organization that you'd like us to support. The charity with the most votes will receive a $500 donation from Tutor.com and the remaining two will receive a $250 donation.

Voting will be open through December 8th. We'll announce the winning charity on the Tutor.com Blog and Facebook page by December 10th.

StandUp For Kids: The mission of StandUp For Kids is to help homeless and street kids. Every day in cities across America, volunteers go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives. www.standupforkids.org

Posse Foundation: Posse identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. Posse extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, multicultural teams—Posses—of 10 students.
