- Bumble bee - large, fuzzy, yellow and black
- Carpenter bee - huge with shiny, black abdomen and no stripes
- Green metallic bee - all green, or green head and black abdomen, or green head and striped abdomen
- Honey bee - golden or dark brown with hairy eyes
- Other bee - has bee characteristics, like 2 pairs of wings and a fuzzy body, but doesn't fit into the above categories
