Winter Break Proposal Revision 2010

Staff Assembly Winter Break Survey 2010

 20%
You may be aware that President Spitzer rejected the Staff Assembly 2008 proposal for closing the university for one week during “Winter Break”, defined as the period between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day in the original proposal. The ad-hoc committee is redeveloping a proposal to submit to President McCulloh in 2010, suggesting that the university provide an option of paid days off for either the week of Christmas or the week of New Year’s, which for 2010 would be:

Christmas week: December 19 through 25
New Years week: December 26 through January 1

The Staff Assembly Executive Council seeks your input on the value of the revised proposal concept. Please answer the following three questions.

Thank you,
