1. Show Our Legislators and the Governor How Essential NY's Libraries Are

You are an integral part of the New York Library Association's Advocacy Campaign--NY's Libraries: Essential.

In order for us to show just how essential New York's libraries are, we need you to participate in SnapShotNY: A Day in the Life of a Library. We're collecting photos, videos, comments and statistics to show the State Legislature, the Governor and policymakers just how important libraries are to the day-to-day lives of New Yorkers. You'll be able to use the informtion we gather as well--to get the message out to your local elected officials, school board members, superintendents and principals, and others who need to hear our message about NY's Libraries being essential!
