Support the Bid for Superfast Broadband

Northamptonshire County Council’s superfast Northamptonshire project seeks to enable 100% countywide access to superfast broadband by 2017.

Earlier this year the we developed an on-line survey which was a two week intensive process to gain as much information as possible on broadband speed, usage and opinions on their current access. This has informed our bid to government for funding to support the roll out in the more rural areas. From our discussions with officials this bid has been well received. We anticipate hearing from government shortly on the level of funding which is available for Northamptonshire.

Now we are asking businesses and residents to sign our E-Petition which will help us to continue to build the case, and show the level of support across all parts of Northamptonshire, for investment in the roll out of superfast broadband.
