On April 23-25, 2010 in Denver, CO, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy will hold the 2010 EPIP National Conference.

Entitled "Next Gen in 2010: Building a Movement, Making an Impact", this high-energy training and networking event will hone next generation practitioners' grantmaking skills, and broaden their knowledge about the trade. The conference will feature 3 distinct tracks of programming: generational change, philanthropic effectiveness, and social justice philanthropy. Each track of programming will include a selection of concurrent workshops grounded in a plenary session. The National Conference features high-profile foundation executives, as well as lively workshops from premiere national grantmaker educators, EPIP allies, partners and members.

EPIP works to provide the necessary support for emerging foundation leaders to thrive in the philanthropic field. We are fully aware that as foundation budgets shrink due to the economy, opportunities to travel and access professional development are being drastically affected. Through this quick application we are interested in learning about how the current economic environment impacts you.

Only current dues-paying members of EPIP are eligible to receive a Next Gen Scholarship. Members can receive up to $500 to cover registration, hotel and/or travel.

Applications are being received, reviewed, and approved on a rolling basis so apply as soon as possible for the best chance of receiving an award!
