Overview and Contact Information

Background: The Willamette Valley Synthesis Project is a partner driven effort coordinated by The Nature Conservancy to identify the highest priority areas for conservation and restoration in the Willamette Valley. The areas identified as priorities are identified as "Conservation Opportunity Areas" (COAs).

Purpose: The purpose of this survey is to collect input on proposed modifications to the original Synthesis mapping effort. Please fill out this form completely. Questions marked with an * require an answer to proceed.

All proposed modifications (deletion from an existing COA, addition to an existing COA or identification of a new COA) will be reviewed and decided upon by a steering committee.

With the exception of areas designated as "critical habitat" by a wildlife regulatory agency, all proposed additions must be no smaller than 40 acres to be considered.

To complete your proposal, you must also submit a PDF map that shows the area. Specific instructions are provided at the end of this survey.

The current Willamette Valley Synthesis map can be found on the web at: http://maps.tnc.org/WV_Synthesis_COAs

The deadline for nominations is January 3, 2012.
