1. “The Great Denim Debate”

In May of 2008, the dream of having a 36 hole Golf Club in North Louisiana came true. Since the marriage of Pine Hills Golf and Country Club and Calvert Crossing Golf Club has been completed, the owners and management have worked hard to make both facilities uniform and seamless. Unfortunately, there are a few unresolved issues. The most highly debated issue is what we like to call “The Great Denim Debate”. Prior to the merger, Pine Hills allowed its members to wear Denim on the course; Calvert Crossing however was a non-Denim facility. After debating about this issue for quite some time now, we have would like for you, the member, to give us your thoughts on this issue. We have done some research on other area golf clubs and here is what we have come up with (please keep in mind that both facilities will continue to allow denim in the clubhouses):

Frenchman’s Bend – Allows Denim on the course

Black Bear – A Non-Denim Facility

Bayou DeSaird – Allows Denim on the course

Squire Creek – Allows Denim in clubhouse, but NOT on the course.

Please help us decide. Choose one of the options below. Votes will be totaled On April 30th.

Thank you for your help – Chuck Brazzeal, General Manager
