On Monday March 1st at 6:00 PM, the Rockland County Chapter of NYSSPE & the NYSSPE Professional Engineers in Construction (PEC) Practice Division will be hosting a joint meeting at the Palisades Center Mall in the Besso Room (4th floor near the ice rink) at 100 Palisades Center Drive, West Nyack, NY.
Anthony Fasano, P.E., CPESC, CPSWQ, LEED AP and Peter Helseth, P.E. will be giving a presentation to Younger Engineers in the Lower Hudson Valley Area on the topic of early career development and steps to licensure. Anthony is the President of the Rockland Chapter of NYSSPE as well as a Certified Professional Coach. Peter is a member of the Board of Directors for both the Rockland County Chapter and Professional Engineers in Construction of NYSSPE. The lecture will discuss the six points critical to career development and also tips for a path to licensures in New York State including the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE), Professional Engineering (PE), and LEED accreditation.
The event is FREE for NYSSPE members; non-members fee to attend is $5. The lecture will be approximately an hour and Anthony and Pete will stay after for questions and discussions. Pizza will be served at the event and the group is planning on walking over to Dave and Buster's after the lecture for a social gathering.
