JTTU 2011 Scientists' Classroom Survey |

Thanks for taking the time to complete this survey prior to the 2011 Journey Through the Universe program.
As many of you know, CAPER has been privileged to be involved with the Big Island JTTU program for several years, working with the scientists, the teachers and the classrooms. We've been interested in what the scientists are up to in the classrooms, how the teachers are working astronomy into their classroom instruction, and how students are learning and feeling about astronomy on the Island.
We'd like to ask you to take a few minutes to tell us a little about what you've been doing in classrooms through the JTTU program, so that we can get a feel for the depth and breadth of what's going on out there. Please know that this is not a situation in which we are making judgments about your classroom visits: from everything that we hear, the scientists involved in JTTU are doing an amazing job in the schools! But, well...we are the people who study astronomy education, right? We always want to know more! We want to be able to quantify and describe the ways in which this JTTU-thing is fabulous.
This information will not be used for research purposes, and the information that you provide will not be shared beyond the group. In the context of the workshop, your comments will not be shared with identifying information, unless you say that we can. In other words, it's all confidential!
