Transition West Kirby Food Projects 2010
 

We would like to make plans about what food projects to pursue in 2010, and would value your thoughts about the following ideas.

The food group meetings are friendly and informal, and open to anyone who is interested in food. Please feel free to attend meetings or contribute in any way that you can.

This will not be taken as a firm commitment on your part, just to gauge levels of interest.

a box scheme or buying group for local fresh produce
a regular West Kirby farmers' market
sharing skills, breadmaking, preserving, foraging etc
exchange of surplus veg etc from gardens or allotments
offers to pick fruit/dig veg for those who can't manage
basic grow your own vegetables course, etc
