Copy of CfA Business & Administration Specialist Agricultural/Horticultural Standard Review

1. Default Section

The Council for Administration (CfA) is the Standard Setting Body for Business and Administration skills in the UK. We are currently working in partnership with the Institute for Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators (IAgSA) in reviewing the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and qualifications for agricultural secretaries and administrators.

NOS are Standards based on the jobs people do and identify the skills, knowledge and understanding that an agricultural secretary or administrator will need to carry out the key tasks related to their role.

We have developed two standards in collaboration with experienced farm secretaries and administrators, titled ‘Process agricultural records’ and ‘Make agricultural returns, applications and claims’ to which we would like your feedback on to make sure that the content is right.

This questionnaire has been split into three sections:

1. The first part is about you and what you do as well as the organisation you work in.
2. The second part shows the the first of two Standards, followed by some questions about its content
3. In the third part we are asking you to advise and comment on the second of two Standards
The final section is optional and designed for you to leave your contact details if you wish to be kept informed of further development work in Standards development.

Your contribution to this questionnaire is important and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Closing date for all responses is Friday 12th March 2010.
