Between the Affordable Care Act, recent court rulings and the economic situation, changes to the Medicaid system are inevitable. To that end, we are surveying our members to see what impact some of these changes may have on your practice and what they will mean for Oklahoma's Medicaid patients.

In its ruling on the Affordable Care Act, the Supreme Court ruled that states could choose whether or not to “opt in” to expanded Medicaid coverage that would cover those making up to 133% of the federal poverty level. This expansion would be paid for with 100% federal money for the first three years and would be matched 9:1 or more with federal-to-state money thereafter.
