1. Hot water is expensive in terms of energy, and solar heating is expensive in terms of infrastructure. The less hot water, and the cooler the water can be, the cheaper and more environmentally friendly the infrastructure and usage.

In your experience, how important is running warm water (above 37°C, 98.6°F) for showers? And how long (how much water) do you need?

2. How much personal room do you need or prefer? How much can you share and remain comfortable?

Please assume that all areas are kept clean at all times, and that shared washroom areas are private (can be locked) while in use.
3. Beyond a bed, what else do you need in your personal space to feel comfortable?
4. Airplane tickets are expensive, and the energy use of travel is non-trivial.

If living away from 'home', how often do you need transportation provided to visit family or friends?
5. How much phone time do you need to stay connected to family and friends?
6. What kind of internet access do you need?
7. 'Pets' are often difficult to manage in a retreat, but we want to allow people (particularly longer-term guests) to bring their companions. Please help us understand what arrangements you could accept. (select any that apply)
