2010 Canadian Shop Performance Survey
The Industry Needs Your Input!

The Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA) is a not-for-profit that acts as the voice and resource for the Automotive Aftermarket. We represent the supply chain directly from the Supplier down to the wholesaler/jobber and shops indirectly through our retail, warehouse distributor and local association network.
One of the goals for the Association is to develop benchmarks for repair and maintenance shops across Canada. How does this help you? It will provide benchmarks on labour rates and number of repair orders than you can use to see how your business is doing. This information will help the industry understand the overall well being of the aftermarket service provider community while giving you as a shop owner or manager the ability to assess your own business practices against the averages within the survey results.
We have estimated that it will take you around 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. Please note that ALL survey submissions will be treated with the strictest confidence and only aggregate results released.
As we are only half way through 2010, these questions should be answered within the context of calendar 2009.
If you wish to supply an email to be notified when the survey results are completed please do so at the end of the survey – otherwise please check your trade magazines or the AIA website (www.aiacanada.com). If you have any concerns or questions please contact Deborah Moynes-Keshen, Vice-President, AIA Canada at 1-800-808-2920 or deb.moyneskeshen@aiacanada.com.

Thank you for investing the time to participate.
