Developing a Professional Certification/Certificate in Reverse Logistics

Purpose of the Study:
You are invited to participate in a research study. The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of a reverse logistics professional certificate/certification program.

Participants:
You are being asked to participate in the study because you are an active member of the Reverse Logistics Association and a reverse logistics professional with experience, knowledge, insights, etc. needed to complete this study.

Procedures:
If you volunteer to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete the following questionnaire.

Benefits of Participation:
There may/may not be direct benefits to you as a participant in this study. However, we hope to learn the requirements of reverse logistics professionals to develop a reverse logistics professional certificate/certification program.

Risks of Participation:
There are risks involved in all research studies. This study may include only minimal risks. You may become uncomfortable in answering some of the survey questions pertaining to your organization.

Cost/Compensation:
There will not be financial cost to you to participate in this study. The questionnaire will take 15 minutes to complete. You will not be compensated for your time.

Voluntary Participation:
Your participation in this study is voluntary. You may refuse to participate in this study or in any part of this study. You may withdraw at any time without prejudice.

Confidentiality:
All information gathered in this study will be kept completely confidential. No reference will be made in written or oral materials that could link you to this study. The data will be collected through online and mail questionnaires. The data will only be collected as an anonymous source. The data will be used to identify the factors that influence the development of a reverse logistics professional certification/certificate program. The data will be analyzed in a systemic manner to identify themes and patterns related to the creation, coordination, and assessment of curriculum development of a reverse logistics professional certification/certificate program.
