Gluten-free eating out survey
Welcome
Thank you for volunteering to complete this questionnaire on how you might be affected by the new law on eating out gluten-free.
Why we are doing this survey?
We would like to find out more about your experiences of eating out gluten-free and how you will be affected by the new law on labelling gluten-free food. Your favourite restaurants or pubs, and even your local hospital and school, will no longer be able to label dishes as “gluten-free” unless they can prove that the dish is below a level of 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten.
This new, very low, level of allowable gluten will be good news for those people with the condition who are very sensitive to gluten. However, getting to this new level of 20ppm will be very difficult, if not impossible in many kitchens, and it could well mean that the way you choose your food has to change.
We would like to hear from you how these changes might affect the choices you make and the way you eat out.
This survey will take 10 minutes to complete. You can forward the link to the survey and encourage other people with coeliac disease or dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) to complete it. The more responses we receive, the better we can represent you.
Who can complete the survey?
anybody who has been diagnosed with coeliac disease or DH
parents or carers on behalf of someone diagnosed by a doctor with coeliac disease or DH.
