The Girl’s Guide to Swagger Survey

1. The Girl’s Guide to Swagger Survey

What is swagger?

Feminine swagger - is the reclaiming of feminine power through high confidence

Swagger can be seen in your posture – the way you hold your head high, square your shoulders, look straight ahead, stride across the room or the construction site. It can be heard in your voice – strong, steady, straightforward, making no apologies for things that aren’t your fault. It can be seen in your eyes - making direct contact. But most of all, swagger is seen in your attitude – fearless, confident, carrying authority and experience with grace, or youth and new experience with grace. It means not caring what other people say about you, when their comments are reflections of their own fears and not yours. It is knowing yourself and acting on your vision – not someone else’s view of who you should be or what you should be doing. It means losing yourself in the sheer joy of doing something well or fun and not caring how you look doing it.

You know women who swagger at work, in sports, at church, in the classroom and in their relationships – maybe you are one of them.

I am collecting the stories of women for a book called The Girl’s Guide to Swagger. If you think you might have swagger and would like to be part of the book, please answer some or all of the questions below.
