What does going green mean these days? The term green collar is defined as blue collar jobs in green business that encompasses manual labor jobs in products and services that directly improves the environment. JobMonkey launched in 1999 is a website full of cool jobs including information on green collar jobs. Because we think it's cool! Corporations and individuals are all doing their part in being environmentally conscious. These efforts are creating job opportunities in the “green” industry for those with skills ranging from farming to finance, and engineering to ecology. But other fields such as health and medicine, and massage therapy are part of the green growth as well. This makes for an easy transition from one industry to the next.
