Teen Art Labs

Art Labs is a FREE after-school internship for high school students with a strong interest in art or careers in the arts. Participants get a behind-the-scenes look at how a museum operates while enjoying exciting opportunities to:

• Explore Himalayan art and culture
• Engage in art-making workshops
• Go on related art adventures and expand your knowledge of cultural treasures in NYC
• Get career guidance from museum staff, artists and arts professionals

Students who participate are eligible to apply for RMA Teens in Spring 2014, which leads to a paid work
position at the Museum.

Mondays from 4-6 pm, October 7 - December 16, 2013.

STUDENTS MUST COMMIT TO ATTENDING ALL MEETINGS.

WHO CAN JOIN?

All NYC area high school students may apply.

WHERE WILL WE MEET?

Art Labs meet at the Rubin Museum of Art, located at 150 West 17th Street, between 6th and 7th avenues.
HOW DO I JOIN?

Interested teens fill out this online application and will be contacted by the Rubin Museum for an interview.

DOES IT COST ANY MONEY?

Art Labs for Teens is a FREE program for all participants with all materials provided.
