Stopping outsourcers from setting job rates on Proz

1. Proz Petition Survey

This survey is in light of the recent Proz petition (Translators' Petition Concerning Proz.com's Job Policies), signed in support by 866 translators around the world, and focuses on the main question: should Proz.com prevent outsourcers from setting job rates in the job posting facility on the site Proz.com.

The full text of the PropoZals can be found at http://bit.ly/daBlbL, however, please note that this survey is solely about point 1.

1.

Regarding job postings on Proz, do you agree that, in order to restore the ability of translators to set their own market rates:

a) Outsourcers should no longer be permitted to indicate the price they are offering or intend to pay for a given translation or interpreting project, and that portion of the job-posting form should be eliminated.
b) Outsourcers should not include pricing or rate information anywhere else in the body of their job posting. To that end, job postings should be monitored and removed, if necessary.

Please answer YES or NO

2. Are you a paying Proz member?
