Welcome to this survey of the Clover Valley Farms Case Study, the second in an eventual database called Profiles in Sustainable Agriculture: Web-Based Case Studies for Beginning Farmers.
Written comments after the survey responses are especially appreciated (even where we have not specifically asked for comments). The feedback will help us prepare additional case studies and pursue funding to support the project.
The purpose of each case study is to provide both a motivating story and the contextual understanding needed for integrating the nuts and bolts of sustainable farming into a real-life enterprise. The case studies are also meant to make existing resources more accessible by integrating links to these resources into an online case study format. The target audience is beginning and transitioning farmers interested in sustainable agriculture. It is anticipated that veteran farmers will also find useful information.
