Iowa Public Television plans to launch a beta version of an online repository of digital learning resources starting September, 2011. The Iowa Digital Learning Library (tentative title) is IPTV’s connection to a PBS initiative to create a digital media repository of public media content that houses and distributes a comprehensive range of learning objects designed specifically for classroom use and delivered to teachers exclusively through local PBS stations. These learning objects include video, audio, images, games, interactives, and documents.
