1. Cherokee Parent Survey 2009

At Cherokee we are constantly looking for ways to improve our curriculum, our programs, and our communication with parents. Our on-going school improvement goals are:
1. 80% of all students will be reading at their grade level benchmark by the end of the school year.
2. All students will improve their writing skills, specifically in organization; and adding details and relevant examples to develop the main idea.
3. All students will increase their use of technology in core academic areas.
4. All Cherokee students will behave in a positive manner according to our PAWS pledge, which will improve school climate and therefore increase instructional time on task. This will lead to improved student achievement in all areas.

In an effort to continue our improvement in these areas and get parents involved in the process, we would LOVE to have your feedback on the following questions. Your answers will help us continue on our school improvement journey. Your input is invaluable. Thank you for your time and support.
