Drop Period Deadline Survey

The URI drop period (time span that allows students to drop classes) was recently reduced. Previously, the drop period was 9 weeks. Effective this year, it has been reduced to 6 weeks, with a transcript designation on the final 3 weeks. The transcript designation would appear as a "W" attached to the class you dropped on your transcript. This is important as it can be viewed by potential employers and graduate school admission officials. The URI Student Senate wishes to use this survey to collect student body opinion on this recent policy change.
