Homeless Youth Capacity Building Project Affiliate Member Application

1.Application Filing Period is Open to Affiliate Members

The Homeless Youth Capacity Building Project is a two-year partnership between the John Burton Foundation and the California Coalition for Youth funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Project seeks to reduce homelessness among youth ages 16 to 24 in California by (1) organizing homeless youth providers to advocate for better local, state and federal policies and (2) expanding the organizational capacity of nonprofit providers serving homeless youth.

Organizations interested in participating as Network Affiliates will:
1. Participate in local, state, and federal advocacy efforts to reduce youth homelessness in California
2. Receive training at no cost to build their organizational capacity
3. Join a statewide coalition focused on reducing homelessness among transition age youth in California
