1. Welcome to Rate Your Landlord
The aim of Rate Your Landlord is to gain a better understanding of the experiences of students living in the private rented sector in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area.
The information gained from this survey will enable both Sussex and Brighton Students' Unions to identify the key issues experienced by students renting in the local area and to work together in improving standards of student housing on both a local and a national level. It will also help to enable students looking for private accommodation in the future to make better informed choices.
The survey should only take 10 minutes to fill out and you will be given the chance to enter into a draw to win a prize of £200.
We really appreciate you taking the time to participate in Rate Your Landlord. Please complete as much as you can as the more information we can gather, the better idea we can get of students' experiences.
You can fill in this survey either in relation to your current accommodation or somewhere that you have lived previously. If you would like to provide information in relation to more than one property, please feel free to fill out the survey more than once.
When all responses have been collected, a report will be produced which will be available online from the Students' Union website.
