(A) Member Recruiting - With club membership the #1 revenue driver for the club, come help us recruit new members. Can include calling prospective members, developing marketing campaigns, planning drive parties. We need more members, come make this happen.
(B) Member Retention - Help our membership get the most out of the club. Help with reachout campaigns to increase involvement. Can include calling members to invite to events, seeking feedback and developing strategies support folks like yourself. What do you want out of the club, help others find it too!
(C) Financials – Have an idea to save money or want to better understand club financials? Good with budgets or managing a capital spending plan? Maybe a future club treasurer? Come join the group that ensures we stay in the black!
(D) Officer of the Day – Any member can be an Officer of the Day! This includes being the club ambassador for the day for potential members and existing members. The #1 way to meet folks that are using the club!
(E) Outside Events – Help us market the club, plan for improvements to make the club a desirable destination. This income reduces the costs to our members. Don’t forget everyone can host parties at the club – Birthday? Anniversary? Wedding? Work Function?
(F) House Maintenance – Help manage the Improvement Plan or participate in cleaning, painting, power washing, maybe some carpentry, plumbing or electrical. Help make our club a nicer place and prepare us for more outside events – and income!
(G) Backyard – Gardening, cutting the lawn, building a BBQ, organize our boats and add to our outside. Join us with a few hours of physical labor outside.
(H) BeerCan – Cooking, buying supplies, organizing on the nights to track who joins us. Help our #1 recruiting tool bring new members into the club.
(I) Board of Directors – Interested in serving? Every year we can use some help. Usually involves a meeting a month and then some.
(J) Committee Boat – Every race needs a committee boat. Can you offer yours sometime?
(K) Committee Boat Crew – Every Committee boat needs some helpers. Come learn the rules of racing and have and enjoy an afternoon on the bay. Open to everyone!
(L) Computer Systems- The club runs on computer systems. If you know hardare, networking, or are willing to learn, come help ensure we have the systems to meet our needs. Help support the Free Wifi offered to the entire marina.
(M) Coyote Bay – Like to write? Maybe contribute an article to the Bay? We also need editors and solicitors for advertising, etc.
(N) CruiseOut – Every Cruiseout has a leader, want to be one? They also need cooks, organizers, shoppers – come join in and help.
(O) Assoc Rep – CPYC is associated with many other clubs in the area, come help us partner with them. Learn more about the other clubs on the Bay, support boating. Associations include: NCPCA, RBOC, SBYRA, PICYA.
(P) Maintain Boats – Our club has a bunch of Optis, some inflatable dinghys that always need a little TLC. Good with boat repairs or want to learn how to a little fiberglassing? Join this group that keeps youth sailing and the club on the water!
(Q) Seminar Organizer – Bring speakers to the club that interest you and our membership. If you know folks or want an excuse to reach out and learn what others can bring.
(R) Social Cook/BBQ - We have many guest cooks for events, like to help out? Know how to cook a mean Chilli or want to learn how to cook steaks on our outdoor grills?
(S) Social Events – Every event takes planning, organizing, decorating. If you have some
(T) Speaker (boating etc) – Think you have a great presentation or want to prepare one for the club? Sign up and we’ll help you!
(U) Website – Content? Webmaster? See something you wish was there and missing? Help us make this a great tool for our members and yourself.
(V) Youth Sailing – Every year we need to plan, organize and hire instructors. Care to help?
