Emergency Volunteer Mobilization Exercise Survey

On Saturday, September 25th, Volunteer Alexandria and the Alexandria Office of the American Red Cross will host a Mock Volunteer Reception Center Exercise. Currently, we are recruiting volunteers to staff this drill as well as volunteer actors to play the role of Spontaneous Volunteers. This drill is designed to help us evaluate our concepts, plans and capabilities to process numerous volunteers in the context of an emergency situation.

a. 200 Volunteer "actors" are needed - Actor Shift: 9:00am -11:00am;

b. 20 Staff positions are needed - Staff Shift: 8:00am – 2:00pm;

c. All activities will be indoors;

d. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to 123 N. Alfred Street, Alexandria, VA 22314; and

e. Snack will be provided.
