Registration for the 2010 LSRJ Leadership Institute

 
We're thrilled that you will be representing your LSRJ chapter at the third annual Leadership Institute on July 31-August 1 in Washington, DC! The weekend will kick-start the 2010/2011 school year by providing essential training in on-campus organizing, plenty of useful tools and materials, and the opportunity to connect with other LSRJ chapter leaders.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. LSRJ WILL ONLY PAY FOR HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS AND PROVIDE A TRAVEL STIPEND FOR ONE REPRESENTATIVE FROM EACH LSRJ CHAPTER. If additional members of your chapter would like to attend, that would be wonderful! However, that individual will need to cover her/his own transportation, accommodation, and registration costs.

2. A member of the Leadership Institute Steering Committee will be getting in touch with you regarding transportation and accommodations.

3. Leave room in your luggage (or bring an extra carry-on bag) to pack the organizing materials LSRJ will be distributing at the Leadership Institute. These will include, but are not limited to, t-shirts, student activist binders, highlighters, stickers, and tote bags. We're looking forward to seeing you on July 31-August 1!

We plan to compile the answers to this question in order to distribute a list of homegrown events and other student-generated projects at the Leadership Institute, so please be thorough!

12. Will you be needing child care during the Leadership Institute?

We are asking Leadership Institute participants to pay a registration fee of $30 to help defray the cost of food and supplies. If you are an LSRJ National Board Member, a Regional Coordinator, an LSRJ summer intern, a presenter/speaker, or a member of the Leadership Institute Planning Committee, you are exempt from paying this fee. If you register after May 31, the registration fee will increase to $50.
